Jason Elkins is going to try to break the Nashville curse and actually have a few paid gigs showcasing some outstanding artists.

Jason says, “I am SO excited about this upcoming event, and I can hardly stand the wait!

Because people in Nashville get to see great music live all the time, nay-sayers have tried to tell me that a “house concert” like this one wouldn’t work.

“I have invited author, poet, singer/songwriter David Teems, and award winning Singer/Songwriter Brad Reynolds to my home for a concert on June 27th. Brad won a Momentum Award for his song “Anyway” this year, (song of the year).

Awesome HOME CONCERT!!!

The profits are going directly to the artists, and they have the rare opportunity of being able to play a paying gig without traveling out of state. These two performed together at a charity event that was sponsored by Transparent Christian Magazine and again at the Blue Bird. individually they are amazing, but together there is a certain magic that you DO NOT WANT TO MISS. Join New York City Parks & Recreation and WLIB once again at Baisley Pond Park located at Rockaway Blvd. between Sutphin & Baisley Blvd in Queens on July 26 at 3:00 -8:00 pm for the third annual Southern Queens Parks Gospel Fest featuring Brother Al Smith, Mount Horeb Dance Ministry, the Jamaican sounds of Destiny and many talented choirs, singers and performers. There will be canoeing on the beautiful Baisley Lake and fun activities for the kids!! The event is free. So…. bring your folding chair, your friends and your family.
